 Dark Maven services doesn't start with an investigation and it doesn't end there either.
Here is the four step procedure to our investigations:
The Contact, the Investigation, the Findings and the Conclusion
Once you contact Dark Maven
When someone contacts Dark Maven (DMI) we proceed in one of three different ways.
 If the activity is light and seems non-frightening, we will ask the contact person to start keeping a journal or log of the activity for five days. Keeping a record of when and where and the conditions at the moment of activity can be helpful, if and when we deem an investigation is justified. We would ask, if children are involved not to let them know you are keeping a written record of events. Simply make a mental note of the details they provide and record it in the log without their knowledge. Also, any photos or videos of activity may be helpful but not required. During this five day period, Dark Maven will be doing research on the location and/or the property. We will also conduct an interview with the contact person. After the five day research and recording period is over, we will go through all available data and decide whether an investigation is the next step. Once we decide an investigation is needed the contact person then becomes a client of Dark Maven Investigations and a case file will be started. You will be given a DMI packet with forms to read and to sign. These forms are for the client's protection as well as Dark Maven's.
If the activity is heavy and frightening, we will forgo the five day research and recording period. We will conduct an interview, with the contact person within 24 hours and make the decision to investigate within the next 24 hours. Once we deem an investigation is needed the contact person then becomes a client of Dark Maven Investigations and a case file will be started. You will be given a DMI packet with forms to read and to sign. These forms are for the client's protection as well as Dark Maven's.
If the activity is hostile and threatening, we will forgo the five day research and recording period. We will forgo the interview. We will start an investigation immediately, or within 24 hours. The contact person then becomes a client of Dark Maven Investigations and a case file will be started. You will be given a DMI packet with forms to read and to sign. These forms are for the client's protection as well as Dark Maven's.
The Investigation
Dark Maven believes no person or group can thoroughly investigate any location in one night, regardless of talents or equipment.
Keeping with that belief, we encouage our clients to give us three nights to conduct a complete and thorough investigation. We give the client the choice of one, two or three night investigations and which days. The days do not have to be consecutive but we do ask the days be within a seven day period.
We encourage that the investigations take place between the hours of 10pm and 5am but understand this time frame may be difficult for some families and businesses.
We encourage that children not be present during the investigation, unless the activity is centered around a child.
The investigation team will be using a varity of equipment on location: Cameras, camcorders, audio recording devices, EMF detectors, etc.
We do not use any techniques that involves seances, incantations or spells to conjure or evoke any spirit or entity.
The Findings
All data and evidence becomes property of Dark Maven Investigations. At the end of the final investigation, we take all data and evidence to inspect and analyze.
We will not divulge or make public any data or evidence from any investigation without the express consent of the client. Thats a Dark Maven guarantee.
Normally it will take a few days to inspect, analyze and compile all available data and evidence.
All data and evidence is compiled and put on a professional DVD made by Dark Maven.
The Conclusion
Also know as The Reveal. This is when the investigation team sits down with the client to discuss the findings from the investigation and to answer any questions the client may have.
The investigation team goes over the data and evidence using the DVD made by Dark Maven. The investigation team explains in detail the findings and answers any questions the client may have.
Dark Maven makes their final conclusion concerning the client and the paranormal activity.
The client gets to keep the DVD as a souvenir, to show family and friends.
Dark Maven services doesn't start with an investigation and it doesn't end there either.
Now once the conclusion or reveal is over, Dark Maven's help doesn't stop there. If we conclude that in fact there is paranormal activity in your home or business and you would like for us to remove it, we will attempt to remove it. If we can not remove it, we will find someone that can. Remember, we are a Christian faith based organization.
We also recognize that coping with this kind of phenomenon can take a psychological toll on many people, especially children. We have certified psychologist on our team to help should that need arise.
We will also follow up with our clients periodically, depending on the severity of the case.
Once you are a client, you are always a client of Dark Maven, providing you are not reckless and negligent and you are not causing the paranormal activity to return due to your own actions.
